EL2205L
Lift Access Controller |
 |
ELID offers 4 models of Lift Access Systems fully compatible
to its EL2205 series which are EL-2205-L16, EL-2205-L32, EL-2205-L48,
EL-2205-L64.
The ELID EL2205 series includes door access equipment, car-park equipment, time
clocks and lift-access equipment. They are compatible at the card level and at
the communication bus level. This
means that the same card can be used in all equipment and all equipment in the series can be interconnected as a network to a central computer.
The basic configuration of EL2205L consists of a Reader Unit, a Controller Unit, and a Floor Selection Unit. The Reader Unit, which is installed in the lift car, is to read the ID cards presented by the lift users. The Controller Unit houses the CPU and associated electronics. The Floor Selection Unit consists of interface electronics and relays for linking to floor selection buttons of the lift. A person intending to use the lift must present his card to the Reader Unit, and based on his ID number, the Lift Access System will grant access to the floors he is entitled to go to by activating relays corresponding to those floors. The EL-2205-L16 has 16 relay outputs and can therefore serve up to 16 floors. The EL-2205-L64 is expandable and can be equipped with up to 64 relays to serve up to 64 floors.
EL2205L Lift Access Controller extends control to elevators. One relay contact is provided for each floor that the lift serves. Maximum size is up to 64 floors. EL2205L consists of 3 parts. The main controller and power supply is housed in a single metal cabinet. Reader is usually mounted at the lift operation panel, while floor selection board with associated relays are separately mounted in another cabinet. Communication between floor selection unit and main controller may be up to 1 km. Programming may be done locally using the built-in keypad and LCD display at the controller panel or remotely via a PC.

Access Features |
| |
|
There are 10 Access Time Zones, programmable with 2 valid periods per day, for each day of the week, plus an extra day allocated for holidays. |
| |
 |
There are 64 Floor Zones, and each zone can be programmed with 4 selections of floors or floor ranges. |
| |
 |
For higher security, PIN mode can be chosen. In this case, the card holder is required to key in a 4-digit number after presenting his card. |
| |
 |
There is an 8-day timer that can be set to bypass Card Access Control automatically |
| |
|
 |
Large Card Holder Database |
| |
Up to 3,200 card holders can be programmed into the controller. Expandable to 12,000 card holders. Each card holder is assigned a time zone and a floor zone. The time zone restricts the time periods he can use the lift and the floor zone restricts the floors he is allowed to access. |

Transaction Logging
|
| |
Every activity at the Reader is recorded in the Controller. The Controller can
store up to 2,000 transactions. Each transaction includes date, time, card ID
number and the transaction code. The transactions can be printed as a report or
uploaded by a PC running EsofWIN Software. |

Stand Alone or Network Operation |
| |
EL2205L can work in the stand-alone mode without the need to be connected to any other terminal or computer. The units are equipped with 16-key programming keypads and 2x20 Character LCD displays. All data can be directly entered through the keypad. Menu-driven commands make programming simple and error-free.
Multiple units of EL2205L can be linked together through current loop and connected to a Communicator for centralised supervision and control from a PC. ELID has PC-based EsofWIN Software which can perform supervision, control, data-base management and report generation. |
