It is a mediating communication device between PC and ELID controllers for a small scale networked configuration on an Ethernet local area network. The communicator converts TCP/IP to RS485 (4-wire)/Multi-drop/RS232 signals or vice versa. It also has a slot for software key 2 (dongle).
