Matrix has continuously expanded its compatibility to support a wider range of access control solutions. Initially, Matrix was compatible only with the EL5000 and EL5030 8-door controllers. In 2024, support was extended with the introduction of the EL5800 4-door controller, along with a new family of RS485 readers and keypads. This year, Matrix has been further expanded to work with all standard ELID controllers, including the EL2316, EL2315, EL1335, and EL1100. By simply adding a Matrix communicator (EA508 or EL508), these controllers can be integrated into the Matrix platform, with the EL508 supporting up to 16 doors.
